eLearning Professional Development (ePD) Program

William & Mary Law School and the Center for Legal & Court Technology (CLCT) are offering an eLearning Evidence Certificate Course and TrialDirectorTM Certificate Course.

CLCT offers educational events and opportunities for students, area schools, alumni, attorneys, paralegals, litigation support professionals, law enforcement, and courtroom technologists for career development and advancement. The CLCT team has extensive experience and knowledge surrounding legal education and wants to share this knowledge with the legal workforce.

Our online courses are taught using Adobe ConnectTM learning platform. This will allow participants to join sessions utilizing their preferred mode of communication, via desktop or laptop computer, iPad or smartphone, at a location of their choice.


Introduction to the US Legal System

This blended e-learning professional development certificate course is designed for people who work in conjunction with lawyers, legislators, law firms and judges, and are interested in knowing more about American law and the US legal system. It begins with a three day in-residence period at William & Mary Law School, followed by the on-line format of two web-based classes per week for 14 weeks.
