CLCT Privacy Policy
This privacy policy sets out how the Center for Legal and Court Technology (CLCT) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.
CLCT is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect
This notice applies to all information collected by or submitted to official CLCT sites. The following information explains the Internet privacy policy and practices that the University has adopted for its official Web sites. In legal terms, it shall not be construed as a contractual promise, and the University reserves the right to amend it at any time without notice.

- The internet address of the web site from which you linked directly to our web site

What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to provide you with your requested services, and in particular for the following reasons:

- If you choose to participate, we may periodically send promotional email about upcoming training, conferences or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

- Fulfilling a Request - When requesting information or services from CLCT, the information you provide will be used in order to satisfy that request. Information may be shared with a third-party to provide indirect support in fulfilling your request.
- Account and Log On Information - When you use certain CLCT sites, log on and account information may be collected and used by the web site to authenticate your identity so that you may receive a variety of information resources and services. - Under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, any records in our possession at the time of a Freedom of Information Act request might be subject to being inspected by or disclosed to members of the public for any purpose they desire.

How we use cookies
